Special Message From Rocky Mountain Chapter of APWA President Elect Stephanie Beckert
March 13, 2020 Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Rocky Mountain Chapter of APWA’s first commitment is the protection of public health. As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds, we are paying close attention to guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other leading voices in the public health community.
After careful consideration, and with the health and welfare of attendees in mind, Rocky Mountain Chapter of APWA has cancelled the Annual 2020 Spring Conference, April 6-8, 2020, in Pocatello, ID. Refunds will be issued to those attendees and vendors that have already registered for the conference. Our Chapter Treasurer will start processing refunds as soon as possible. If you paid by check you can expect a refund via check. If you paid by credit card, your card will be credited the appropriate amount.
Please plan to attend the 2021 Spring Conference which will be held in Pocatello, ID. Watch for updates later in 2020.
We recognize that these cancellations are disappointing for event attendees, vendors, and all those who are prepared to share their valuable knowledge with colleagues. Our overriding concern is to keep our members safe and do our part to halt the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.
Thank you for your participation in Rocky Mountain Chapter of APWA activities and your commitment to our shared mission of protecting public health.
Please contact me with any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org
Sincerely, Stephanie Beckert President Elect, Rocky Mountain Chapter of APWA
